The Carolina Collective Presents: Coup D'état, Art Basel, Miami, is an ambitious and soulful exhibition of artists collectively addressing the powers that be with an aim to challenge, uplift and propel minds to higher levels amidst the tumult of our times.

Coup D'état will feature paintings, textiles, drawings and sculptures by 18 artists with exceptional artisanship and formal mastery, whose works spotlight social inequities, explore cultural identity, confront institutionalized powers and journey to the sublime.

The Carolina Collective is a collaboration between South Carolina artist, Kristen van Diggelen Sloan and Charlotte, North Carolina's The Brooklyn Collective and Sozo Gallery.

The collective is committed to empowering artists and creatives, from emerging to established , and to encourage healing and community through the arts.  

10% Of show proceeds will be donated to The Brooklyn Collective.
